Incident Summary:

10/22/2006: A bomb hidden inside a trash can and detonated remotely injured a group of five Buddhist monks on their morning alms round. The attack, which took place in Muang Narathiwat, Thailand, also struck the soldiers guarding the monks, killing one and wounding 12 more people. It was unclear who was behind the attack. No claim of responsibility has been reported.
