Incident Summary:

10/10/2006: Two bombs exploded in insurgency-torn southern Philippines. One explosion occurred in a stall selling alcohol during a festival in the town of Makilala on Mindanao island, which killed 6 people and wounded 29. The second bomb went off in a market in Tacurong city in another part of the island, wounding 5 people. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
