09/28/2006: The Freedom Hawks of Kurdistan (Tayrbazen Azadiya Kurdistan - TAK) claimed responsibility for an explosion at a natural gas pipeline which interrupted transmission of natural gas to Turkey. The explosion caused serious financial damage. No casualties were reported in the attack.
