09/26/2006: Unidentified attackers fired mortar shells at the facilities of the Gas Company of the North in Kirkuk, Iraq. One shell hit a gas line, causing a fire that increased the hours of an electricity blackout. No casualties occurred in the attack. No group claimed responsiblity for the attack.
