Incident Summary:

09/23/2006: Unidentified gunmen using machine guns on motorcycles shot and killed a member of Nepal's Parliament at his home in Belha, Nepal. One other person was killed and two more were wounded in the attack. A Nepal Maoist splinter group, Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha – Goit (JTMM-G), claimed responsibility for the attack.
