03/27/2006: Nine were killed and more than 20 injured in a bomb attack in Jolo, Town, Philippines. The Island of Jolo is a stronghold of the Al-Qaeda-linked Muslim Abu Sayyaf rebels, which the government suspects in the attack. The group did not claim responsibility.
