Incident Summary:

02/19/2006: A bomb exploded at the main train station in Ahmedabad in the Gujarat state of India, injuring 25 people and destroying two tea stalls and part of the railway platform. No trains were at the station at the time and the perpetrators and motive were unknown. Police later said that Mumbai was the actual target of the blast as the briefcase which held the device was taken off of the Karnavati Express train and left at the Ahmedabad station. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
