Incident Summary:

02/18/2006: A bomb exploded in a bar outside of a Philippine army base housing U.S. soldiers on the island of Jolo, killing one person and injuring 28 others. The explosion came on the same day that 250 U.S. soldiers were welcomed to the area to take part in an annual joint military exercise focusing on counterterrorism. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
