12/18/2005: In one of two incidents on the Gaza-Israeli border (cf. 200512180005), Israel Defense Force soldiers killed a Palestinian gunman, who was a member of the Popular Resistance Committee (PRC), while he was attempting to lay landmines along a road patrolled by the Israeli military near the Erez Crossing in the northern Gaza Strip.
