11/16/2005: A Taliban suicide bomber rammed his taxi, which was laden with explosives, into a US military convoy in Kandahar (Province), Afghanistan. Although three Afghan civilians were killed and four others were injured, no Americans were harmed in the attack. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the bombing.
