Incident Summary:

11/12/2005: Taliban members attacked the (District) Police Headquarters in Afghanistan’s Khost Province killing one officer and injuring six others. Two police vehicles, two motorcycles and part of the headquarter building were damaged in the attack. 12 nearby shops were set on fire as well. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack via a phone call to the Afghan Islamic Press.
