Incident Summary:

10/17/2005: 20 to 25 unidentified militants attacked two buses passing through the village of Charsing in India’s Assam State killing 15 of the passengers and setting the vehicles on fire. The perpetrators then moved on and attacked a nearby village killing another 10 people and setting fire to 30 houses. Four people were injured during the attack as well. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
