Incident Summary:

10/13/2005: Approximately 150 Chechen rebels launched a two day armed intrusion of the town of Nalchik in Russia during which they raided a local Counterterrorism Center. A total of 85 people were killed and more than 150 others were injured in the multiple attacks in Nalchik. Chechen rebels claimed responsibility for the armed intrusion.
