10/10/2005: About 60 Suspected Taliban members attacked a police convoy sparking a seven hour gun battle in Afghanistan’s Helmund Province that left 19 policemen dead and five others missing. The convoy was traveling on a major drug trafficking route from Afghanistan to Iran. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
