07/26/2005: A landmine was detonated in Sri Lanka by the Karuna Faction, a radical offshoot of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, killing 15 Tigers. Reports indicated that the Karuna Faction was responsible, but the group did not actually claim responsibility for the attack.
