Incident Summary:

05/12/2005: Six United Nations peacekeepers were injured and one was killed in the Ituri region of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The attackers, possibly members of the Patriotic Resistance Front, ambushed a convoy United Nations’ mission (MONUC) convoy with gunfire. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
