Incident Summary:

04/10/2005: Unknown gunmen killed Sayed Fadel al-Shoq, a member of the Shiite political party, the Supreme Council for Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI) in a drive-by shooting which took place in the southern Baghdad district of Dura. The passenger in the car, who was also a party member, was wounded; the two SCIRI officials worked for Sadr, a radical anti-American Shiite cleric. No one claimed responsibility for the attack.
