Incident Summary:

02/24/2005: Two Islamic militants attacked Indian Kashmir’s Administrative Headquarters in Srinagar, India. The perpetrators stormed the complex trapping more than 250 employees inside. Indian police rescued the trapped civilians after two hours of captivity inside the complex. The two perpetrators, three policemen and two civilians were killed in the fighting. Both Al-Mansoorian and Al-Badr claimed responsibility for the attack.
