Incident Summary:

01/08/2005: Unknown perpetrators shot Syed Agha Ziauddin Rizvi, a religious leader, in Gilget, Pakistan. Agha Ziauddin Rizvi died from his injuries five days later. Three of Ziauddin’s bodyguards were also killed after being shot in the attack. One of the attackers was also killed. No group claimed responsibility for the assassination attempt.
