11/11/2004: Members of the Salafist Group for Preaching and Fighting (GSPC) detonated a homemade bomb targeting a military patrol near Sidi Chaib, Algeria. One Algerian soldiers was killed and one other was wounded. The blast damaged a military vehicle as well.
