Incident Summary:

11/4/2004: Unknown perpetrators, believed to be affiliated with the Islamic insurgency in Algeria, ambushed a police patrol outside of the municipality's headquarters in Relizane, Algeria. The barrage of bullets killed two policemen, wounded one other, and damaged the police vehicle. One the assailants was wounded during the ensuing firefight as well.
