Incident Summary:

10/09/2007: Suspected Taliban militants attacked a convoy containing ballot boxes from polling stations after the Afghan elections. The attack occurred in Southern Urusgan, with three police officers killed and another two wounded. The eight police officers died when their vehicle struck a mine near Shah Wali Kot. The attackers failed to remove or destroy the ballots.
