Incident Summary:
9/12/2004: A suspected car bomb exploded on Haifa Street in Baghdad, Baghdad province, Iraq, which prompted a firefight between U.S. troops and insurgents. The exchange of fire lasted several hours, during which an American tank and helicopters were deployed. The tank was attacked by an angry mob; the helicopters responded by firing missiles and gunfire at the crowd. The tank was destroyed and at least five people were killed and four were wounded. Members of Tawhid and Jihad claimed responsibility for the incident. This incident occurred at the same time that other sites around Baghdad were being targeted, including the Green Zone and Abu Ghraib prison.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
Criterion 2
