Incident Summary:

07/17/2004: Two people were killed and two more wounded in an explosion at the Guanlan Movie Theater Square in Shenzhen, China. The motive for the bombing was not clear. It was reported that the explosive was a 40-centimeter long, tube-shaped metal device, which was similar to a detonator and filled with steel balls inside. Authorities did not detail how the explosive device was ignited.
