Incident Summary:

06/10/2004: Eleven Chinese construction workers were shot dead when unidentified gunmen launched a night-time raid on their compound in north-eastern Afghanistan. Sixteen people were also injured in the attack. Up to 20 unknown, armed men stormed the site south of Kunduz and opened fire in what the Chinese embassy said was a terrorist attack.
