Incident Summary:

11/27/2003: Suspected militants hurled a grenade at a security checkpoint in Lal Chowk, Srinagar's commercial hub. The grenade missed the checkpoint and hit a shop, killing its owner and wounding 10 other civilians. Police suspected that the attackers were Kashmir separatist rebels. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
