03/29/2003: Rockets were fired at the U.S. military base at the airport in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, injuring no one, but causing damage to the runway and nearby facilities of the Afghan Army. In separate pamphlets found in Jalalabad, Saif-ul-Muslimeen and Lashkar-e-Fidayan-e-Islam claimed responsibility for the attack, adding that it was aimed at the Americans.
