Incident Summary:

03/20/2003: A Chinese fishing vessel was bombed and sunk, killing 14 fishermen on board and injuring one, off the Eastern Coast of Sri Lanka in a rocket attack by suspected Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) rebels. Nine other fisherman, including a Sri Lanka national, were rescued by another vessel nearby. The rebels denied the accusation.
