03/11/2003: Authorities blamed Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) rebels for simultaneous attacks on Colombian public buses in Bogota, Colombia. Rebels tossed incendiary devices into the buses, but no one was injured. It is unclear how many bombs were detonated and how many buses were targeted; sources claim between two and four. Two women were arrested after passengers identified them as the assailants who had thrown bottles of gasoline onto one of the buses.
