Incident Summary:

01/04/2003: Colonel Tahir Zemaj, former commander of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kosovo (FARK) was assassinated along with his son Enis and their relative, Hasan Zemaj in the vicinity of Peje in Kosovo. The unknown assailants approached Zemaj’s vehicle in a moving car before opening fire as the Zemajs were traveling on their way back from Pristina.
