9/29/2002: At least 50 Maoist guerrillas attacked the airport in Phaphlu, Sagarmatha zone, Nepal. The assailants spread kerosene around in the control tower, lighting it on fire. No one was hurt in the attack; however, the airport was rendered inoperational.
