Incident Summary:

9/7/2002: Members of Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) attacked villagers in Olilim, Lango sub-region, Uganda. The assailants looted and burned houses, then abducted at least 28 people from the village. Specific motives for the abductions are unknown; however, the LRA has abducted numerous children in order to turn them into fighters or sex slaves.
