Incident Summary:

7/14/2002: Members of National Democratic Front of Bodoland raided the Bhumka Maligaon relief camp in Assam state, India. The assailants entered the camp and opened fire, killing nine refugees from the Adivasi tribe and injuring another five. Bodos and Adivasis have a violent history and are rival tribes.
