4/17/2002: Members of Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) kidnapped Mayor Reynaldo Davila Rincon, from his office in Chiscas, Boyaca Department, Colombia. Specific motive is unknown; however, it is suspected that he will be forced to participate in an trial for allowing municipal elections to occur when FARC prohibited them.
