03/17/2002: Two unidentified men threw several grenades inside the Protestant International Church in Islamabad, Pakistan, which killed five people, including two American nationals, and injured forty-six people. The assailant was suspected to have had ties with Al-Qaida. No one officially claimed responsibility for the attack.
