02/20/2002: Suspected Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) guerrillas hijacked a domestic airliner and forced it to land near the town of Hobo, Colombia. They then kidnapped Senator Jorge Eduardo Gechem Turbay from the plane.
