02/15/2002: Assailants abducted Sanjay Singh in Rehal, Bihar, India. Singh, the local District Forest Officer (DFO), was killed later the same day. No group claimed responsibility; however, five Maoists were convicted for their involvement in the attack on June 21, 2017.
