Incident Summary:

02/09/2002: In the municipality of Oued Slama in Algeria, six members of a family were ambushed and killed by gunfire while driving in a car. Officials attributed the attack to the Armed Islamic Group (GIA) and residents suspected that the attack was in retaliation for the killing of GIA member Antar Zouabri by Algerian security services.
