Incident Summary:

02/04/2002: The body of a farmer was found decapitated near Maluso, Philippines. Prior to this discovery the victim was reported missing. Police suspected that the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) was responsible for the attack and that the victim was targeted because they suspected him of being a military informant. The body was found with marks, believed to have been from torture.
