01/18/2002: Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC)rebels attacked a Colombian Defense Forces helicopter who had overseen a poppy fumigation effort along the border of Cauca with Caqueta and Huila. Five soldiers were killed in the attack.
