Incident Summary:

12/13/2001: Heavily-armed gunmen shot and seriously injured three soldiers of the Presidential Protection Unit (PPU) outside of Moroto, Uganda. The soldiers were on their way to Moroto from Mbale in an army truck after collecting fuel for the Ugandan president's convoy which had overseen military exercises in the area.
