10/12/2001: A bomb targeted a KFC outlet in Makassar, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. The back door and windows were destroyed, and damaged was done to a nearby Indonesian restaurant and kindergarten. No group claimed responsibility, but the attack appeared to be a response to the US-led bombing campaign in Afghanistan. No one was injured in the attack.
