Incident Summary:

09/14/2001: Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC)guerrillas, Fronts 35 and 27, were suspected to have blown up the gas pipeline that served the Montes de Maria region in the center of Bolivar Department, Colombia. The blast left 16,000 users in Bolivar Department without natural gas for seventy-two hours. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
