09/12/2001: A home-made explosive device lacking a detnator was discovered in front of a synagogue in the Villeneuve-la-Garenne neighborhood of Paris. The device was discovered after an anonymous call was made to the police. Police successfully disposed of the bomb and there were no casualties. No group claimed responsibility.
