Incident Summary:

08/25/2001: About 450 members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Columbia (FARC) in a strike on Santa Maria, Huila Department, attacked the Santa Juana de Arco School, the police station, the National Registry building, and the municipal court using gas cylinders, other explosives, and M-60 machine guns. Houses were destroyed and various items looted. Three soldiers were wounded but no other injuries were reported.
