Incident Summary:

08/19/2001: The Owutu Police Station in Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria was attacked by 50 members of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC). The perpetrators released six detained suspected armed robbers. A large consignment of arms and ammunition was also stolen after holding the assailants held the four policemen on duty hostage.
