08/16/2001: A bank in Banda Aceh was damaged in a bombing by the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) in Aceh Province, Indonesia. This incident was part of the GAM’s bombing campaign and one of four banks that were targeted throughout the city on August 16, 2001. No injuries occurred.
