Incident Summary:

07/07/2001: A bomb connected to a timer and left in a stall selling food in Jinja, Busoga subregion, Uganda, exploded, injuring the woman running the food stall. The bomb was though to have detonated shortly after the two bombs on Main Street and Scindia road in Jinja, Busoga subregion, Uganda. The bomb was described as an improvised explosive device. No group claimed responsibility for the attack, although sources suggested that rebels may have been expressing their dissent against the current government regime.
