3/1/2001: Two bombs exploded at the Pasto airport in Narino province, Colombia. The first explosion occurred at the end of the landing strip, leaving a deep crater in the runway. The second explosion occurred at the airport fire station; it demolished parts of the building and a vehicle. The airport closed following the explosion. There were no reports of casualties. No group claimed responsibility for the incident and the motive is unknown.
