Incident Summary:

2/19/2001: Approximately 100 Maoist rebels attacked the former state minister Prakash Bahadur Singh and his family in their home in Ratipur, Seti province, Nepal. Ashok Bahadur Singh, the nephew of the former minister, was killed, and five family members, including the former minister, were injured. The rebels accused the Singh family of sexually and financially exploiting local girls, and failing to pay fair wages to laborers.
